How do I set stations/presets?

05 coupe recent purchase. I DON"T have manual and cannot find answer with search. I assumed when i found i station i wanted to keep i merely push and hold the number for a few seconds and it would save. You know like 99.9999% of every other head unit on the planet.

Can you tell me how to save stations???

Also what does the (cat/??) button do?

thanks alot

Yes, the Cat button is for satellite radio. The music is separated by type, so you can bounce back and forth between different types by pressing the Cat button (I'm assuming it stands for category)

And to answer your original question, yes you're right all you have to do is press and hold the preset button until you hear a beep.
