sound system help please!

i have an 06 g35 coupe and i was wondering what the best sound system would be? i know NOTHING about sound systems at all.... i want to get two 10s. i dont know what company to get, i heard JL was really good but i am not sure, i dont want anything too crazy at all. i listen to rap and rock. i have 650 to spend on a system, can you guys help me please thanks!

for 650 you aren't going to get the "best" because that will sometimes barely cover your amp. you just have to be a wise consumer. and weigh your options. you should go to a couple audio shops and listen to what each of them have available.

Bad news is $650 won't get you a good head unit, JDM DD faceplate, steering wheel control adapter, harness and other required parts to put a new stereo in.

I'd recommend swapping out the HU first. Swapping from the base '06 HU to the Pioneer F90BT made a huge difference in my wife's car.

it's seem like he just want sub and amp.. he didn't mention anything about double din..

your best bet is used

a box,used subs,and a used amp is just about what your budget calls for, dont forget install price if your not doing it yourself

Like they said start with a head unit.Then do a little at a time until you get a good product.If you go cheap you will pay the price you get what you pay for
