Hey guys none of my steering wheel controls work..

its an 03 g35 coupe with bose

I just purchased the car used with a blown engine and the only thing I did to it was swap in a new engine. I disconnected the steering linkage by the rack to give me more access, but I dont know if it would have anything to do with. Is there anything common that goes out? I was told that it could either be the clockspring or a steering wheel position sensor??

there may have been a wiring harness you disconnected
