batteryy is f*ked up

Angry batteryy is f*ked up

well my battery drained in five minutes while i was listening to the radio.
Took it to autozone and they said i have a bad battery...idk. They said another one with a 2 year waranty is $75

do you guys recomend a battery like an oem one or all batteries the same

not all batteries are treated equally. if you're planning on keeping your electrical system fairly stock I'd say an oem-ish replacement will be fine. If you plan on straining the battery with amps and other electronic goodies. I'd say start looking into kinetek, optima, odyssey stinger etc batteries. These batteries are more geared towards high energy consumption - also known as deep cycle batteries

Or, if you plan to keep the car forever and don't want to have to worry about battery issues for the foreseeable future, get an Optima if you can swing it. Good not just for deep cycle, but durability.

got one from wal-mart $75 installed with 3 year warranty
but if you need more than OEM spec for an aftermarket sound system, then optima is good from what everyone says

realistically talking a oem type battery will work fine for most

Im running 1400rms daily and have no issues running a battery from Oreillys

Paid $100 for it

deep cycles are nice if you wanna run your set up with your car off, they are not really to much help with starting or anything else

gotoooo costco.. it's cheap and the specs is similar to ones that cost $20 more at autozone..
