LED brake light fuse?
LED brake light fuse?
Hi guys, 1st post.
I've had my 03 coupe auto since new, and things are starting to go, here and there.
- the staking CD player has jammed, I read the tread on others having the same problem and did the procedure of disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes etc... to no avail.
But, now the rear "center" LED brake light has gone out (no spoiler- in car), I looked at the fuse panel by foot well, but couldn't find any fuse pointing to that specific item.
Anyone know how this can be fixed?, or do I have to go the expensive way through the dealer?.
Thanks for your help

After further investigation and getting to talk to a service guy that actually had time, it looks like the LED unit is a sealed one, and the whole thing needs to be replaced (no fuse or bulb).
Looking at $260 CDN for the part + labour.
Looks like I will be holding off on that for now.

Vancouver, but it's not important, I can live without the top/center brake light.
Now I'm just waiting for the CD motor to burn out or miraculously fix itself, so I don't have to listen to it grind for 10 seconds every time I start the car.
