what kind of antenna are we talking about now?

fm/am, xm, gps, 802.11b/g, etc.

anything powered, i guess

I have a regular non-powered tv antenna and mounted it on the rear-deck. I get so-so reception. Powered antennas (12Volt) are the way to go... most of them have window stickers so that it sticks onto the rear windshield

If you have tinted windows will that interfere with the TV antenna being put on the inside of the window

 

I believe it won't affect reception if the tint is ceramic though (huper optik, madio charcoal).
