Started with the Alpine W200, now I have the W205(won't charge ipod durning use) Thinking of going W505 w/ Nav.

With the way these iPods are changing though I want to get a system that will function better and fast with a ipod/iphone setup since this is my primary source of tunes in my ride.

Anybody recommending a better Brand of DD Systems?

i love the ipod interface of my pioneer f90bt. works with the iphone AND it plays videos off the ipod/iphone

yea the response is good. not instant, but pretty good.

its a 5.8" touch screen.

I also have the F90BT, with the latest (3.0) update.

I'd say the system's merits and features put it at about $1000 value, but the bad points on it knock off $500 from that.

The Pioneer Z110BT, from what I've seen on youtube videos and reading reviews, has none of the F90BT's (and other F-series units) faults, and quite a bit faster too. It's as low as $1200.

i was looking to get the Z110BT, but the price difference between the F90 and the Z110 is what sold me on the F90. The shortcomings of the F90 arent too much of a bother to me, and at half the price of the Z110 that made it even more attractive.

What has been nice about the pioneers is that so far everytime there has been an upgrade in software or new ipod or iphone, THEY KEEP WORKING!!!!! I have not had one customer come back yet with a "My Ipod/Iphone is not working now!"

I am very happy with Alpine W505 with the new nav. NVE-M300. Great features and easy to use.

Ipod interface does look better on the pioneer than the 505

I'm gonna get Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD soon and it says that I need CD-IB100II iPod Adapter. My questions is, is it just iPod adapter or is my iPhone will work with it without going to airplane mode?

here's the avic-z110bt....I love it thus far

Problem with this adapter is that it is not a usb port style adapter, it is a buslink adapter. You could have multiple problems. The first being no charging. The second could be that your iphone/ipod works and then after a software update, would not work. The iphone will almost always ask about the airplane mode, no matter what. Just ignore it.

DNX9140...Ipod cable will charge iphone 2g,3g,3gs...just make sure you get the newest cable.

Get Build-in NAV, Bluetooth Phone and Audio, Ipod connection (audio and video), voice command, SD Card slot for upgrade, overall a very nice deck

Hey I was noticing the trim around your Alpine...Was this a custom install or did you buy that trim piece to get rid of the gap?
