8" Mid-bass Speaker Questions

either amp provides the same watts, on woofersetc.com the price for the a430 amp is cheaper, so if budget is your factor, then I would go with what's cheapest. I seriously doubt in a car going 60 mph, that you would be able to hear a difference between the two amps...
your choice.
as far as front and rears are concerned...I used to work at a stereo shop not to long ago, and it baffled me when people wanted to come in and upgrade the rears only. I go to a concert and watch the show backwards? Cause I like sound coming behind me? Whatever.... I would def do the fronts only...you put a decent 80 watts to those comps...your not going to even notice that the rears aren't there.
your choice.

Pretty positive this is what i bought for my front speakers. These were made by an old school speaker company and sound very nice in my car.

I had to do them as a coax because the tweets were too big for the stock location, but those combined with some Infinity Kappa 6.5 coaxials in the rear, plus a 10" kicker sub in the trunk, equals a very impressive setup.
I am EXTREMELY pleased with the way it sounds vs my stock non Bose system. You put on some music like Coldplay or Dave Mathews Band, Pink Floyd, etc and you really hear the levels and layers in the music. Its bizarre.
IMO this setup i have blows the "Bose Surround Sound Studio on Wheels" that my dads 08 has, out of the water.
It just sounds EPIC. Plus those speakers are priced VERY well.

If you're into DMB, just do a set of 3-ways. Dedicated midbass is the way to go. In my last vehicle I ran 8s in the doors, 3" mids/1" tweets in kickpanels. Didn't even feel like I needed a sub, though I had a ton of power running it.
Someday I'll get something similar in the G...
But honestly, separating the mids out and having a dedicated driver for that not-quite-sub-bass-but-my-front-speakers-cant-handle-it stuff is about the best thing you can do for an in-car system. Just don't power it off your stock deck
