Okay,
current audio setup is 03 5AT w/ Navi, stock Head unit with PAC for Ipod & proclip mount.

I am going to put in an HKS CAMP2 and port it to the stock navi screen

or

I was looking into getting a Double Din Conversion. If I do this, I am curious what some of the Best Head Units are that are Double Din or Single din with retractable screen.
If I go double din, I don't need navigation in the DD, but would prefer DVD or something that I can play iPod movies on & potentially my CAMP2.
If I go Single din, I am thinking same requirements and that would also leave me room to mount a boost controler or another set-up there.

So, since i've been out of the loop on car electronics for the last several years... I am curious to know what some of the best set-ups are.

for DDs I'd say either the Pioneer Z series or the kenwood 9140. both do have nav and are pricey but they are also JAMMED with feathures

 

Kenwood or Pioneer. Get ones with nav which will blow your factory away. Use your stock nav as your camp screen only.
