How to change Body Control Module (BCM)?
I have had some issues on my Body Control Module (BCM),
so i bought a used BCM with the same parts number.
I know i have to perform a initialization of the NATS system, and registration of all NATS ignition key IDs.
Does anyone here know how to do this?
Its a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe, 6MT, Premium Pack.

On many cars the odometer information is contained within the BCM and that needs to be programmed in by the dealer (unless you get one from the wrecking yard).
In the case of Chrysler for example once the BCM is identified as a problem you leave the car at the dealer. The dealer will then get a new BCM sent to them and it will be installed with the odometer information from the original.

Hi TroysG, long time
after alot of testing consernig the battery draining, a specialist at Nissan Nordic found out that the BCM module on my car is no good, the battery saver function is not "on", and it wont go on even if he switch it on with the Consult, well he are able to switch it on, and do some other configuration via the Consult, but are not able to save it, he gets an error message that says that the VIN does not match the car.
I have got a "new" used one now, and are about to change it, but found out today via this Specialist that i have to go to the local Nissan shop to do all the programming, they connect my car to their Consult 3, and the specialist that sits 500 kilometers (310 miles) away, will do the programming via his Consult3
