Radio problem solved! Just call crutchfield, get usa interface unit, done! I could write a book on this car, what a project! But it will all work out. I just want to add one thing off the audio note, I did some adjustment on the rear negative camber issue I have, made an adj with the factory limitations, not good. Got a set of Ibach camber arms, this weekends project or one of them,,lol, The minor adjustment I did make was a big help when going into one of my hot turns, the car felt much flatter with more of the rear tire contacting the road.

 

So you are saying Crutchfield sells a seperate HVAC and radio unit?

 

No I am saying that you can get the i pod hook up so you don't have to listen to the CDs cut out at their every whim, I would rater pay 159. than deal with that pain in the butt!

 

Remind yourself you made the right choice when the headunit fails completely and your $159 adapter is useless, and you spend another $300 on a repair, or $600 on a refurbished factory headunit.

 

Let's hope that don't happen! I can get used head units cheap so it should not be a big deal..

 

Update: I installed the i-pod interface, works great! Sounds great! Two hours after work one night, not the worst job but a little tricky, there is a guy on you tube showing how to do it, and Crutchfield has very good directions, better than the manufacturer. Now onto the motor, and then find the dyno guy........
