I am in desparate need of a Nakamichi Amp PA1002. I have called everyone, and everyone is out of stock on the amp (despite what the website advertises). I literally called over 25 dealers.

The installer for my car was supposed to test my equipment months ago, but never did. 4 months later, I just got a call that one of my amps goes into "protection" mode and doesn't work. Either way, it is so hard now a days to get a nakamichi amp. I don't know why.

As luck would have it, I found out while waiting that my installer needed an amp to power 2 subs (and the pa1002 wouldn't be powerful enough). We miscommunicated in regards to how the amp hookup was going to be. I ended up getting a Soundstream Tarantual 880/2. I can't wait. Its going to be unbelievable! It was quite a bit more $, but also quite a lot more power.
