Zenesis VS Viper
I got that viper alarm same exact one u linked.
250 + shipping was like 10$ from ebay
250 for installation
500 total and totally worth it.
Some dumb chick asked me if I had a viper because she saw my viper alarm once that was pretty fun lol, she would of gave it up def lol.

Have been using Viper/DEI alarms for more than a decade and have always had good luck with them. Very reliable products, very easy to expand (via extra modules) if your needs change or you want to add options. Shopping for an alarm for my G at the moment also and will likely go back to Viper, but haven't settled on a model yet. I don't think you can wrong with them but that's just my 0.02.
I just got the viper 5902 installed, its amazing. Long range! Everything can be set up on the remote (sensor sensitivity, etc). Remote tells you everything, if shock sensor is activated, or door is open, car running, etc. Also had 2 modules installed, tilt sensor and talking voice module.

I'm thinking they will fix that down the road with new remotes if the battery life is really as bad as he says.
Otherwise, I'm lovin the Zenesis because you can get the keypad entry for it. I currently have the Nissan keypad which I love and don't want to give up just because I added an aftermarket alarm.
I think the biggest reason why everyone seems proviper is because there is only a hundred dollar difference between a company that has stood the test of time and a company no one has really heard of. Zenesis could be a better and cheaper alternative to the viper and that would be great! More competition means better products, prices and choices. But on the other hand, most people aren't going to try a brand new brand for 100 dollars. Especially when the difference could be between having your car in your driveway in the morning versus it being stolen.

. I leave it charging for a couple hours, while I'm at work, maybe like once every month or two.
