Pioneer AVH-6000DVD - PAC SWI-PS.. no input plug?
OK guys.. I'm going crazy in here...
Sooo.. I installed my new Pioneer radio few weeks ago.. hundreds of problems right away.. first of all terrible antenna signal, then iPod - sat radio module didn't work (fixed it by changing cables to the opposite colors) then I tried to install steering wheel control today and I don't really know what's going on..
I printed all the directions from the PAC website.. I connected all the wires to the plug just like they are suppose to be.. I programmed everything fine (red light flashed like it should)... then I wanted to connect that plug to the radio... and there is not input for this plug.. This plug was going to the stock HU but there is no input in pioneer radio.. there are plugs 1 pin narrower with 9 pins and I have inputs for them but SWI goes to the 10 pin plug... I did a a little research on the forum here and I noticed that everyone didn't have problems with the installation this control to pioneer radios so what did i do wrong?
PS. When i turn up volume to 12/40 I can hear a noise/rustle from the speakers... my friend told me that it is probably because there may be an amp in the radio and I have stock amp in the trunk.. when i turn up volume to 18 then it's pretty much the loudest volume.. when I go to 25. 35.. 40.. it's pretty much the same just more bass and rustle..
help?
