Custom ported L7 box.... Installed (pics)

Just got my G out of the shop and here are the pics.... lemme know what ya think

what is it tuned to?

port seems a bit small

why is it sticking out from the side like that?

why is it sticking out from the side like that?
im going to say because the depth of that woofer is bigger than the depth of that section of trunk. these subs are MONSTERS!!

i had one of these woofers in my old '00 Celica in a custom ported 6ft³ box that me and my buddy built. the thing was ridiculous. it pounded so loud. awesome subwoofer!

here's a pic i took while test fitting the box into the back hatch.

sorry if i thread jacked you. but the install looks good and your going to love that sub.

I would of built sides on the box or just included it in the entire length of the box

L7 is hardly a monster.....this is a bit bigger

they make speakers round for a reason. Get an ID max and it will **** and **** all over that inefficient square sub in both SPL and SQ

not true at all

the L7 has even won a few SQ competitions

Ive used the IDmax, L7, and L5. While I did like the IDmax, there just wasnt enough output for me. I know some guys like their subs to blend in, but I like mine a bit louder

why the F*** would i want that crazy of a sub in my G. im not tryin to rattle it apart and of course that sub is better than the L7 you prob also paid 2 or 3 times the price.

but for best bang for your buck the L7 will be the top quit hatin!!!!!!!!!!!

yes but huge SQ gains and alot of output
