Memphis Audio Group Buy

Hi all,

I wanted to post this for the members for a group buy on Memphis products. If you haven't heard of Memphis ask around or do your research. This stuff is great. Their speakers sound awesome and the amps are small and easy to hide for stealth installs. The small Memphis Bell amp is 55 watts at 4 channels for your speakers and has one 400 watt channel at 1 ohm for your subs. In the coupe, it just fits were the stock amp goes. Its way bigger than the stock but still fits in that space. If you want to hear this product for yourself, stop by my shop and hear it in my brother's car.

Their web site is http://www.memphiscaraudio.com

Here is some sample pricing but I'll get you whatever you want.

16-MC500D - 500 watt mono block amp $275
16-MC1000D - 1100 watt mono block amp $390
16-MC3004 - 75 watt x 4 channel amp $300
16-MC2004 - 50 watt x 4 channel amp $210

Small Belle - 55x4 and 400x1 $460
Big Belle - 75x4 and 1100x1 $650 (only two at this price)

Speakers, to many to list PM for prices.

You will receive the full 3 year warranty on the Memphis Amps and Speakers. Shipping and handling will be added to the final price.

Questions and orders should go to Josh@carsoundadvice.com

Sounds like a good deal.

I was just looking up their subs and noticed the mounting depth on the LVS18v3. over 19"!! Thats a big speaker. Have you listened to the Subs Rudy?

Anyhow, maybe you can give those of us who are memphis novices a breakdown on the component speakers. Personal experience etc. Thanks,

-Justin

Justin,

The subs sound really good. If you stop by the shop, listen to my brother's accord. He has two of the tens with the small belle and it sounds great and they pound.

My opinion on the speakers is they are brighter than the JL XR's and very crisp. They are built solid, the rep took a pen stuck it in the surround and twirled the speaker around with no damage to the speaker. Memphis really stands behind the product with the 3 year warranty.

There is really only two speakers I lean people to. The JL for those who like deeper and more mid bass and the Memphis for those who want a brighter sound. I always recommend doing the Memphis speakers with a sub to compliment the brighter sound.

Here is some pricing for the speakers:

The 6-1/2 M-Sync Components $199
The 6-1/2 MC-60 Coax $99

Thanks,

Rudy

Re: Memphis Audio Group Buy

I'm thinking getting the MC-1000D and 3 M3 10" for my sedan. Any body got this setup? Would this be hard on my battery and alternator (would I need to upgrade either of them)? And should I get a cap?

I have a JL 300x4 with Focals fronts and fills and this is the last thing for the system. Most likely I will have everything mounted in a custom box on the floor of the trunk (removing the spare).

If anybody has any input or opinions I would appreciate it.

That sound like a great set up. As far as power, I would recommend upgrading to an Optima yellow top and upgrading all of the power and ground wires from the battery to the chassis and alternator. No need for a cap.

Do you hear me?
