Sigh, okay, I'll explain for those who don't understand the txtspk.
You drained your battery while trying to start your brother's car. If at all possible, do not remove the battery when jumpstarting, and do it while your car is running to prevent draining your battery.
There was still just enough charge to get your car to start, but since the alternator was working 100% duty to replace the charge, at idle it wasn't enough to keep everything going. Even something as small as interior lights could be enough for the voltage to drop too low to sustain spark.
It's not nice on your alternator to charge a battery, as it has to work a lot harder than it's used to. This is why a dying battery can take an alternator with it rather easily, since the alternator gets overworked just keeping the battery charged enough to start the car again.
So anyway, get the battery charged properly (more + & - asap) and have your electrical system checked. Replace whichever (or both, possibly) is the culprit.
