2004 G Coupe Navigation Update

I've been searching for the last hour and I have not found the answer to my question. My question is how do I install the 6.8 navteq navigation dvd into my 2004 g35 coupe. If anyone knows or can give me insight that would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by "install"? Are you trying to add OEM navigation system to your car, or aftermarket nav? Or does your car already have OEM Navigation and you need to know where to insert the nav dvd?

Thanks guys for the replies. What I am talking about is updating the dvd rom. I heard from someone you had to put it in "discovery mode" (correct me if I'm wrong) to load the dvd. I'm some what confused about the whole process and I really don't want to make a trip to the dealership.
