So, I've done the searches, but I can't find anything. I'm trying to find out if someone has compiled an ongoing list of DD head units that show the album artwork from an Ipod when connected. If I've missed a post, I do apologize. But I think this is important information when choosing a DD head unit.

 

I know the Pioneer f series shows the album art. I'm sure the newer ones do as well. I had an F-90bt, it showed the album art, though at a very low resolution. Don't know why... maybe because I hacked it?

 

I've been searching unit by unit, trying to get this info. I'm thinking about the Kenwood DNX 7140 or Eclipse AVN726E. I can't confirm if the Eclipse shows album artwork. Crutchfield says no, but they also say no about the Kenwoods, and I know the Kenwoods show artwork. This is a pain in the a.

 

The Pioneer F90BT did, I don't recall poor resolution, it was as good as could be expected from the pixels allocated to album art on the screen.

This was with a 120GB "Classic".

 

Well only when I pressed on the album art to zoom it in did it look all pixelated (on the ipod screen). I have an iPhone, don't know if it makes a difference. Wouldn't think so. I noticed the new Pioneer head units will support Pandora app for the iPhone now too.

 

The Pioneer Avic-Z110BT seems to be the best. Pandora, last.fm and youtube does work with the unit. Search the other units on youtube for a demo to see if they support album art.

Now the resolution is Reallyyyy good, however not a really good exemple since the sont playing did not have one, but it gives you an idea

I mean,most are ok but dont expect anything amazing
