All points well taken. I too can argue from both perspectives. The truth is, people will still consider both Video devices... I still prefer the AV unit considering all of the above. It just works better for me personally (since my LCD's dont have dual inputs as you mentioned), and I like the conveneice of having central switching for video and sound.
Regardless - I am only here to offer both these devices at discounted prices. I am happy to help anyone with either unit...

ikSardarG: Yeah I was posting pics and comments about a month ago, but I've been so down that its taking so long and so many issues that I just kinda stopped getting too excited. I am thinking at least another 2 weeks for my car to be in working stereo condition. I'll take picutres and post them up.

ikSardarG, do you have any pic's of your setup you can post? Maybe snap a few pics AV unit with the top off, so we can see what's inside and what they added to the $120 TV tuner that increases the price $400. That would really help forum members, or users like me, save some dough.

I too am wondering the same thing. I don't know exactly what goes in to a AV Electronic unit, but I can tell you that it works. I can also tell you that the units sell VERY CLOSE to those prices which are given to us as a dealer... It's not a very profitable item.
Either they are taking us all on a ride, or there is some really fancy stuff inside. I will try and see what I can do... But I dont think I will open a unit which is in stock and going to be sold to a customer... I dont think that would be very fair.
I wonder if AV Electronic has some pics of thier units open ??
