Stock HID's flickering after Viper Alarm install.

so, I dont know if this is suppose to do this with a aftermarket alarm...

but I had the Viper 5901 installed into the car with the remote start. Now if I use my remote start and leave my lights on (auto). The lights turn on. But when I unlock or arm the car with the lights on, they flicker (shut off and on quickly)

is this normal?

when i remote-start my car, my lighting goes on, but not the headlights - i don't have auto-on, so they are off normally and on remote-start. now, when i unlock the car, the lights briefly blink twice to tell me it unlocked. since you also have headlights on, yours headlights blink as well. whether it's normal or not - sounds like it is. whether it's good for halogen lights to be "blinking" like that - not so much so, since it decreases their life expectancy. i don't know if the installer can rewire the headlights not to go on even in auto-on mode.
