Hi All,
I've seen that a few people have run Zapco EQ's behind the stock head unit, which I'd like to do. Is there a pre-made cable to take the differential inputs into Zapco Symbilink? Or is there a plug out of the head unit I can get as a pigtail?

no pre-made plugs that i know of, but very easy to splice.

 

Thanks. I'm looking mostly for a plug and play type of setup since I will likely sell the car in a couple years but look to keep the Zapco EQ's and amps. So I'll see if I can figure out the receptacle plug that would take the plug going in to the bose amp to make the pigtail behind it.

I don't know what the setup is like for the zapco... but if you look at harnesses made by metra/best kits etc. they have the male and female harnesses that should allow you to "tap" into the wiring without actually cutting any of the wires. (7550 and 7551 I believe are the harness numbers)

 

The zapco has differential input capability so eq could get same signal bose amp would have. I am looking for pigtail for amp end of things, to feed bose input into eq instead and zapco amp output back into harness. Does anyone make plug that accepts input for bose amp?
