Do I have to worry about PS2 skipping?

Do I have to worry about PS2 skipping?

while driving? either watching dvd's or playing games. and yes, i know, but i wouldn't be playing the games while driving. would the ps2 skip due to the car's movement?

I haven't had any skipping problems while driving.

Mine has acted funny a couple of times but not from hitting bumps. I think it's because I've taken it apart so many times and cut it up so you'd need dental records to ID it.

The PS2 laser unit has a bad habit of scraping up discs when it's shook around. I'd be careful with that unit.
