Just installed the pa11-nis the other day. Didnt have a ipod so i used my iphone, said the iphone wasnt made for this device but it played and charged fine. So i went bought a 4th gen nano, and it doesnt charge. Anybody else having problems with their nanos and the pas11-nis?

 

I've had the PA11-NIS for over a year it was working fine except most recently (about a month ago) it stopped charging my 5th Gen iPod Video and it also loses track of the tracks so for example I would be playing one song and I press skip track it would play the track again thinking it's the next track. I see this because the track numbers don't change.

When I listen to the cable I hear a strange shorting noise.

I contacted them and they told me to ship it to them to check it out. I might just buy a new cable, it costs less than to ship it back and forth.
