Issue with aftermarket sub/amp

You don't want to do that. You want to splice before the BOSE amp.

Also, what amplifier are you running?

Also, you'll want to run a dedicated power line from the battery. Do not TAP into the power for the BOSE amp. Also, a remote signal exists on the input harness of the BOSE amp. You can use this.
