My Radio Problems and maybe a solution
I have the Bose stock radio in my G and Im having the problem of no am/fm the cd works sound comes out of the speakers but the sound is muzzled and seems as if the car has to warm up for it to sound right. I've gone to the dealer they say my radios shot, Is it really? has anyone had this problem? and will a new deck of any kind fix it?
I also read something about modules and crap, anybody know?
thanks.

Having the AM/FM go out before the CD is new to me, but the solution is probably the same - a good reason to upgrade. You can do it as cheap as
If money's tight, you can get a used Bose headunit from the marketplace for a ton less than the dealer will charge you.
A new double-din kit and head unit should put you back in business, but it's possible (and recommended) that you'll have to replace the Bose amp as well.

I ran this past someone else and they said my amp. Has anyone had amp problems and did it effect the radio that bad? and doesnt the radio have something to do with the temp controls and things? sorry disregard or respond but just saw previous response and he says to change the amp too.
