1) Get in the car, lock the doors.

2) Insert the key into the ignition, DO NOT TURN IT, and remove it. Do this at least 6 times in 10 seconds...leave the ley in the 6th time you insert it.

3) The hazards will flash

4) Turn the key to "ACC"

5) Push a lock OR unlock button on your remote...the hazards will flash to indicate it picked up that signal, and that remote is programmed.

That remote is done...if you have NO MORE to program, the remove the keys, unlock the door, and open it. Try the remote, it should work fine.

IF YOU HAVE A SECOND REMOTE...the do the following:

6) After step #5, hit the unlock button on the door, then hit the lock button.

7) Now push either the lock OR unlock button on the second remote...the hazards will flash to indicate it picked up the signal, and remote #2 is programmed.

step 2 has nothing to do with the key fob, you don't do anything with the key fob until step 5... step 2 through 4 involve only your key

so wait are you having problems getting the hazards to blink? itll take a lot of tries. i know i sat there for 5-10 minutes inserting the key in and out until they blinked. if you got passed that part and turned the key into the ACC position but the new keyfob isnt responding, then you should probably check the keyfob battery. might be dead.

What key are you using in step #2? It must be a key that will already start the car (a new key will not work for this).

like dave said, it has to be the key that starts the car. make sure youre inserting and removing the key completely when doing step 2.

you will not be able to use new key. I believe you have to take all of your keys to the dealer to have them programmed. Only the key fob is programmable by us.

it costs hundreds of dollars to program keys at dealership...
so after you putting in and out the key in the key cylinder, you press any button on the new key fob?
