The guy who wrote the PDF is Docron
https://g35driver.com/forums/members/8274-docron1.html

He's still active, but the website he had it posted to is not.

I PM'd him to get a copy of it so I can convert it to a big post, hopefully that can get stickied here or the DIY forum.

JDM DD
JDM A/C (usually comes with DD)
Scosche DD trim ring to fill the gap
Headunit
Metra 70-7551 for bose and 70-7550 for non-bose
Nissan diversity antenna adapter
PAC SWI-???? (??? depends on what headunit you get)

Soldering skills, electrical tape.

Tools:
Philips screwdriver (preferably magnetized), wire-strippers, velcro cable wraps, soldering tool, trim remover tool or small rigid nylon spatula.

While you've got everything apart, you may want to check out the rattle & squeak exorcism DIY and felt-tape up stuff that touches to quiet down the center console.

After some research I have found that Pioneer AVHX3800BHS double DIN Receiver good unit to buy. Just want to feedback from you guys. Have you any experience with that model? what's about this model quality?

Update here: I have decided to order this model:

Depends what you want out of it. If android auto or apple carplay are something you want, you might want to hold out for one of the NEX units. If you're just after a good media player unit, the 3800 is good, and having the dual phone connections is great for if you and another person frequently ride in the same car.

Install OWN navi radio in a non navi car?

Hey guys, I'm new here. Tried using search function but couldn't find anything. I have a pearl white 03 coupe, just got the dreaded AC stuck on radio not working issue arise yesterday. I was wondering, if I bought a full system of eBay, (navi, radio, climate control, and head unit) could I just simply plug it in to my non navi car and fix the issue? Any help would be great. Thanks!
