So today I went into Car Toys and they told me that if I wanted to install a DD that I would lose function of my factory popup nav system. Is this true? I noticed that on their previous G installs they had used the Metra dash kit and I wondered if that had something to do with it.

I have a 03 coupe with the bose system.

 

You'll lose voice functionality from it unless you get a unit that supports interrupting, or build a relay to switch it.

You can still keep it though.
