I just installed a Pioneer AVH-P4000dvd hoping that it would do this.
The HU was a gift, so i'm not too disappointed. But this was a feature
I was looking forward to. It will only play divx from a dvd. (I googled)

So which head units will play divx from usb? Simply having a usb port, and a divx logo doesn't mean that a HU will play divx from usb. I'm looking for confirmations.

 

i dont think any of them do, most read it from a disc

come to think of it, I dont think any nav/dvd read video from a USB, could be wrong. I didnt follow last years models to close

 

Does anybody know which tv's can play divx from usb?

 

Is this functionality a pipe dream even though the hardware is available?
