HD reciever or Serius Satallite Radio??

Talking HD reciever or Serius Satallite Radio??

I installed a DNX9140 kenwood HU and replaced the Factory Bose system with Mbquartz, All I can say is the Sound quality is almost too good..it's amaZing..anyways as far as radio quality I wanted some opinions on wether to get and HD radio reciever or go with a Serius satallite radio...any suggestions???

Check your location's available HD radio stations. Might be a ton, might be none. Sirius is pretty much going to be the same everywhere, except Hawaii or outside the US.

I went with HD radio.. Didn't want to pay for Sirius.

Where I lived before, there was a total of 3 HD FM stations, so it wasn't really worth it at all. And that was the 10th largest city in the US.

A couple good stations make it totally worth it though.

id say if you live Around NYC go for HD Radio since they have a large number os station, otherwise go sirius.

Im about 25 mins from Manhattan..Looks like ill be getting a Kenwood KTC-HR300 HD Radio Tuner with Itunes Tagging..Thanks guys.

I want to install a hd tuner for my kenwood but where do you put it? the Hd tuner is huge.

i have a subscription to serius and the sound quality is great. i dont think ill be renewing my subscription though because they dont really have too many like top 40 type stations. tons of rock and news radio type stuff. i guess it just depends on what type of music you like.

There's more space in the center console than you think. There's also dead space under the dash itself.
