Axxess XIA-I01 with XMD1000 - Alternative satelite radio for the G

My car: g35 2006 coupe & Nav
I like the idea of connecting an audio source and i've read enough on this forum. There is:
usa spec PA11
usa spec PA15
PAC AAI-NIS2
And whatever else....

Well i want a satellite radio and buying it for like $200+ is not an option. So i bought the XM Direct XMD1000 XMD-1000 Satellite Receiver for like $40 (which looks to me as a good deal it came with the PC Kit) but its going to take me a while till i setup that Carputer. So i want an alternative way to use an iphone as an audio source and XM receiver.

Axxess - XIA-I01 seams to be the only Digital interface module that can handle satellite radio. Any experiences with this device? I tried finding more on this forum but very little about this Digital interface module.

I may sound silly but this seams to be a good setup.
1. Ill get the XM with Iphone interface to work with Axxess - XIA-I01

And in few months when i have my carpenter set up. My setup would be
Axxess - XIA-I01 as an audio receiver from source PC with Centrafuse & XM trough the PC kit, Iphone + data plan.

Any ideas? Suggestions and experiences with Axxess - XIA-I01?

Thanks

Okay, so instead of spending $200 on a satellite, you're going to spend:
$100 on the XIA-I01 to interface with stock radio
$40 on the XMD1000 to recieve an XM signal
$60 on the XIA-LCD to be able to change channels on the XM signal
$15 on the XIAH-XMC to send the XM signal to the XIA-I01
$10 on the XIAH-IPC to send the signal from your iPod to the XIA-I01
-----
$225
Your math confuses me.

Your math confuses me.
$90 on the XIA-I01 to interface with stock radio
$40 on the XMD1000 to recieve an XM signal
$15 on the XIAH-XMC to send the XM signal to the XIA-I01
$10 on the XIAH-IPC to send the signal from your iPod to the XIA-I01

Comment about the XIA-I01: This package, which includes the Digital Interface by Axxess and the XM tuner and antenna from Terk, will allow you to listen to and control XM satellite radio directly through your factory radio (must be satellite capable.) Text is displayed on the radio screen, just like a factory kit. It plugs into the factory satellite input port on the back of the radio and is completely hidden under the dash (except for the antenna, obviously.)

So no need of the $60 XIA LCD.

So for $155 i get Audio in plus XM which latter or when i get the carpc would be reused with the XIA-I01 - XMD1000 +PC kit

Any reviews or comments on the XIA-I01.

I may be totally wrong about this setup but hey that's why i created this post to figure out if this is a good setup and get advice about the devices.

By what i understand the XIA-I01 doesn't need an XIA-LCD screen.

So this gets it down to like $150 +-

But the whole point is get the XM. Get the Audio In. And be compatible with the Carputer for less money.

So by my math the $150 would get me Audio In - Iphone and stuff + Satelite Radio. Which i would reuse the XIA-I01 for audio in latter on and plug the XM to the pc with the pc kit.

But i haven't seen good reviews here for this device XIA-I01 so im still trying to figure out would this work proper.

Thanks

It seemed from the description that it needed the external LCD to control the XM stations and such.

Still, I'd just do it all at once.
