Is there a remote for this HU?? it would be very useful for me.. i've found one called the R55 by Pioneer but a lot of reviews saying a lot of the buttons on this controller don't even work for their HU's but im wondering if it would work for mine?

 

Are the steering wheel controls not enough for you?

 

NOPE! i don't want to touch the touch screen too much... i feel like im using up all the goodness of it and it'll wear and tear on me. heehheheehe and the steering wheel control is only for vol and up and down on the tracks.

 

OH btw.. i'll have the pics of the HU installed with my factory navi for you tomorrow. it looks beautiful, so clean i like it.. and i never knew how much bass my speakers could put out and i was shocked

 

Never heard of the touchscreen wearing out, the only stuff I can see using enough that it would wear a spot out even, is track up/down, and that's in the steering wheel.

 

I think the steering wheel control can be pretty helpful, I would recommend one, I've had my p4200 for a few days and you have no idea how I wish I have a steering wheel control, especially for the volume, so I need to hop on that asap.
