When I bought my car pre-owned, the previous owner had a couple mods in it. I'm not no electronic guru. I think its to hook a possible DVD player? Can you guys tell me what the wires are for and what I can hook up.

Hmmm Looks like the old owner had the sound from a video source playing through the FM radio band with that FM Modulator. I am sure you can tune to a frequency on the headunit and connect an aux sound source through it... Seems like he had the video wires possibly going to a screen someplace in the car. Not sure if this is for your navi screen or not (requires more investigation).

It could be just a video extension cable from a portable DVD player to a portable screen he may have kept in the vehicle for passengers... But it is a video hook-up it seems.

Only one way to find out ....

Thanks for the help! I appreciate the input. I will take it to an audio shop and see if its hooked up to the navi screen.

 

Why not track down the prior owner and ask?
