06 Sedan Audio/Video Upgrades!! In Progress
Well, the tvandnav box is getting replaced a second time. They said picture should be perfect. So it appears it is defective. I will post an update once the new one comes in.
Update
Third box did the job. Picture and color is perfect. I will update with pics later, but thankfully this replacement meets my standards. Backup cam is also perfect and has great low light capabilities.
Final (for now) Install Pics
Here are some pics of the final install.
- Trunk all cleaned up until I get 4080 box.
- Battery Hookup (old ground cable gone).
On the ground cable, it seemed like the factory cable was 6AWG. I ended up picking up the KnuKonceptz negative ground hookup and I reused the factory ground bracket that mounts on the fender. I just opened up the factory crimp and used my buddy's hydraulic crimper to redo it with 4AWG. Came out pretty clean I think. I put split loom over ground cable and wrapped that with electrical tape for the "factory" look. Other two ground cables are my grounding cables from Black Betty.

TV and Nav Final Install
Here are some pics of center console and TV and Nav screen pics.
The back-up cam and video look much better in person.
I ended up mounting the TV and Nav box behind the glove box, just to the left of the Micro Cabin Filter. Box was too big to mount behind center stack and I wanted access to brightness controls by just popping off the under finishing panel that goes underneath the glove box.
