help.... electrical nightmare.

so i am having an intermittent problem.

My ac/ heat and radio controls don't work off the center console, the lights are off and none of the buttons function. But the blower still runs, the temp display work, the radio stays on, and i can control the radio off of the steering wheel.

like i said its an intermittent problem, it all works when ere it wants, when i loose the controls, the radio goes to a random radio station, and the ac controls reset.

Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions.

SEARCH: Answer in 1-2min

Posting the same question as the last guy in this forum: Answer in a few hours.

Cheap solution: buy a used factory headunit + control board from the used for sale
Dumb solution: pay the dealer $600 for a refurb
Best solution: buy a dd unit and dash kit and be free from the weak factory unit
