For the '04s the Metra DD matches fairly well, unlike the 05+, so you might want to consider that if your budget is tight.

It's not as good as JDM quality, but for 03/04 they're really close. Larger local car audio shops carry the Metra kits, so you can check out out and hold it against the stock interior.

 

I didnt find the metra kit to be flimsy

 

Are the buttons cheap and ugly looking?

I think it looks ok, some people hate it.

People that ride with me think the in dash navi I have is stock.

If you are on a budget do the metra, if you have money to spend and think its worth it, go for it

the right side next to the cig lighter has been fixed, I didnt pop it into place when I was installing it

i got a metra kit. looks fine to me n happy with it. how does the 05 ones look? cant be that bad. cruthfield has these for half off if u buy a deck over $150 so comes out to only $100 for the kit

 

^ Yes, it can be that bad. The stock is aluminum, not aluminum colored, but actual brushed aluminum. The Metra 05-07 is smooth plastic that's aluminum colored, plus the buttons aren't the same.

To do it to save a few bucks is like getting paid to have somebody ruin the look of your car.
