Where to connect lead wire?

I have the stock non Bose head unit and the guy at Crutchfield said to connect the "Turn on Lead" to ignition fuse box for power since the head unit doesn't have a place to connect it. Can anyone be specific as to where this connection is etc... Thanks!

Being slightly more specific about your application might help.

Like: what you're turning on, where it's going to be... coupe/sedan...

Effort in questions is directly proportional to effort in answers.

The lead wire i'm refering to is from an aftermarket 2 channel amp to power aftermarket 6X9s' that i'll be putting on the rear deck where the Bose 6X9s' would be. The factory head unit doesn't have RCA connectors, so i'm tapping into the rear side panel speakers (06 6MT Coupe) I was told to run the lead wire from the amp to the ignition fuse for power because the stock head unit doesn't have a place to connect the lead. My question is, where is this ignition fuse that i'm supposed to tap into.

You should just tap into the accessory wire which I believe is the black/white wire on the ignition harness. Never tap a wire without properly testing it first, but the wire you'll want should read at +12v when the key is turned to "ACC," "ON" (AKA whenever you turn the key to listen to your radio or the car is running).
