The CD changer in my '03 Coupe seems to be jammed. I had it loaded with 6 disc for about a week until one day when it was changing from disc 1 to disc 2 it just locked up. I can hear the motors inside trying to load but nothing happens. Eventually it stops and the display reads "CD ERR FO". Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix.

 

Lmao... I'm in the same boat. Just last week for me as well in my 03 coupe. Changing disc and lock... then error. I've been searching this topic and it seems like a lost hope for our CD changer. Or it also seems like there's someone who can fix it for about $200. I almost wanted to open it up myself but read on another thread that someone tried and can't even open it. I found a replacement on eBay for about $150. Tempting but I ended up using a pac converter and plugged in my IPod and Droid. Good luck.

 

No easy fix.

Punching the unit helps sometimes, temporarily.

Best fix is to switch to an aftermarket headunit.
