I currently have the JDM DD kit with a simple kenwood single DIN headunit. I am considering getting a DNX9960 double DIN navi unit but I am worried about the glare. I currently have 5% tint on the back and rear windows, and 25% on the fronts, but during daytime driving, the screen of my current headunit receives a lot of sunlight. I imagine if I put in a navi unit it would be more bothersome because I would be using the interface a lot more. Do you guys get glare on your units?

 

In my sedan, it's never been a problem.

 

never a prob, just change the settings....dimmer, brightness, hue, for example

 

Oh, and just thought I'd mention my wife's sedan (with a DD) has no tint.

 

no problem here...i have the DNX7160.

 

What headunit to you have now? The KDC-X693 is notorious for have bad angle of view in our cars.
