Problems with the Pioneer x920bt

Hey guys so i just installed my pioneer x920bt navi but i'm having some problems. First i cant get into any of the headunits settings like turning off the beep which is REALLY loud. I was wondering we were trying to do the bypass but we messed up the mute wire on the harness which i think is the problem. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong? And there is a little gap also, does anyone know where i can get a filler for the gap?

hey sorry to bust your bubble and hate the horrible additude because i guess i didn't state my problem fully but "RTFM, reading the f'in manual" page 163 OR any of the trouble shooting problems in the FM. Obviously i think i would go there first even without a FM "f'in manual" but ANYWAYS i cant access any of the settings in the Setting Page expect the AV Settings and AV Sound. Everything else like the System Setting, Map Setting, BT Setting and etc aren't accessible. I we havent yet installed the antenna or the gps wires yet but i doubt that will make a difference and when we were trying to bypass the headunit we didnt put the "Mute" wire back in which idk if that is the cause of this problem.
bypass as in this video

It's possible your botched bypass put the system into a demo/display mode with many of the settings features locked out.

Unless the youtube video was done by the guys who put together the bypass on avic411.com, I can't say that it's one that actually works.

Did you connect the green brake wire? i install my friends newest Pioneer head unit and didn't connect the brake wire since the old Units worked well with out it. But the newest ones require for it to be wired up to access all the functions because his, Navi, Bluetooth and other things didn't work only after the green wire was connected everything started to work again.

Checked the video out, that is the bypass confirmed on avic411.com.

Double check that the pin is fully in as far as the other pins next to it, and that it goes to the brake wire and that they're both grounded.

If that fails, there's always Pioneer support.
