am i missing it? wasnt there a do it yourself install of a double din ?

am i missing it? wasnt there a do it yourself install of a double din ?

I thought there was a do it yourself of installing a double din with the jdm dash kit into a 05 g35

Everything other than the speed sensor wire was easy to find. If anyone needs help with that let me know. I forgot to take a picture of it after I found it but, after that it was real easy.

well i was actually looking for a do it yourself of acutally installing it after i already have the parts...they want to charge me 100-150 at the closest audio shop

Besides the removal and follow the removal steps in reverse to put it back in, all there is is soldering wires together.

But as I said before, I'm going to try and video my complete audio system replacement in about a week, if you need more help.

what brand and model headunit do you have?

even if it has a VSS wire it may not need to be hooked up

Not needed, but it helps in tunnels.

well i should have everything i need tomorrow for the install so im looking to start it tomorrow...is there alot of room for error in installing it myself ? or would it be alot safer to just get it down at a audio shop?

Always safer to have somebody who's done it before, but this one rates about a 4 on the difficulty of install. Tucking the wires away enough to get the new unit in gives some people trouble.
