08 G35 with nav -> Sync phonebook with Android.

I tried to ask some android forums but I figured I would ask you guys.

I used to have a wimo phone and after getting an app for it, I could send my phonebook to the G35.

I now have an EVO 4G and can't figure out how to do it, or if it is even possible. I tried the "bluetooth file transfer" and it errored out.

Any hints?

On a related note... Can you get the G35 to transfer the phonebook it already has stored for one phone to another phone?

Chris

I have the Droid X, and I've tried to sync/ transfer phonebook to my 2007 G35X w/nav, and it fails to transfer the whole thing. I was able to manually select a few numbers/names to transfer via blutooth, but it won't send my entire phonebook, which is kind of annoying. It shows the progress bar and it fails at about the 40% mark. I wonder if it has something to do with some of my facebook contacts not having phone numbers, or the fact that there are 350 contacts in my phonebook.

Aside from that, the regular blutooth calling functions work perfectly.

I was able to use bluetooth file transfer and it transfered fine. Maybe try updating bluetooth file transfer.

I have a first gen droid. It used to not work at all with BT but now after the most recent update It works and my phone book transferred fine. In the car go to transfer phone book and keep that screen up.. in contacts go to the options and do a BT file transfer. If that does not work. Try updating your phone!
