I want this, but for a license plate that cost 400...not worth it. I'm pretty sure if you hide your license plate when you run red light cameras, speed cameras, and ez passes, I'm pretty sure its breaking some sort of law..

Just hope you don't get pulled over by an actual cop that sees you covering your license plate.

Of course its breaking the law to cover your license plate... when you purchase the set a disclaimer is including stating the only purpose is for security (comes with locks with a set of keys) and privacy protection... I know the guy who makes them so I didn't pay $250 but he told me thats what he wanted to sell them for... I actually hadn't paid for mine yet, but he said if I can get a few people interested or sell the few that he gave me I'll get it for cost... He's had them for a while and I think he dropped his prices but I'm not sure... A couple friends I know got theirs for $200... The first set I got I only paid $100 for the install but that guy wasn't immediately available and I didn't feel like waiting so I paid another guy $150. Anyone who does audio install can do the installation, it only took an hour for the mechanic to do and works perfectly. I know people who paid under $100 for theirs to get installed but they knew their installers so I'm not sure what others would charge. I know I overpaid but I felt naked without it. Once you drive with it, it feels weird to drive without one.
