Integrating center channel in storage pocket?

I was wondering if anyone has used the storage pocket above the radio and climate controls for a center channel? I'm thinking about putting one there in my '04 and would just like some ideas.

Thanks in advance.

OP, Im actually curious about this as well...

Im looking @ the dnx9960 with 5.1 dds & wanted to know if it'd be beneficial to add the kenwood center channel in that spot since that h/u has the right stuff for it...

Any sound guys care to chime in with some wisdom?

Man I forgot to start a thread for my center channel build! nobody chimed in with anything so I tackled a center myself and ended up with the the picture below.

I used a Hybrid Audio L3SE. I'm using the JBL MS-8 which utilizes Logic 7 which works best using a center channel.

Everything can be improved upon, and an install is never finished as you may know!

I'm in the process of changing a few things as well. I've got another pair of L3se's that I plan on using. I've got an Arc Audio KS300.4 that will be powering the center channel and the back channels will be bridged to power the sub. The 4 channel tube amp I currently have will be bridged to power front midbass' and the 2 channel tube amp currently powering the sub will power the L3se's.

In my opinion the MS-8 is a waste if you don't use a center channel. I've used it in various configurations since the release and it has never sounded right until I added the center. You would think with the location of the center I wouldn't have good depth? Wrong, after adding the center the sound stage probably moved out to the defrost vests and up 3-4". I've never had a problem with stage width due to my tweeter location. Width is probably 4-5" outside the car.
