Speaker Install Question
I just purchased a 2004 G35 4-dr Sedan and would like to replace the speakers. I have the Premium Package with Nav. The speakers sound awful and the FM reception is also quite bad.
1) Is is simple to replace the OEM speakers or do I need to get a audio installer? Do I need to take the door apart?
I was considering Inifiniti Kappa/Perfect series. Any suggestions/tips for the speaker replacement? Are there any online guides for this?
2) I would like to connect an Ipod without FM transmitter or cassete adapter. One dealer suggested I swap out the CD changer for an Alpine deck. Anyone done that? How expensive is it?
Thanks
Boris

Re: Speaker Install Question
look at the top of this forum for a sticky thread by nycg35. He has a diy for a coupe but it's basically the same for the sedan. It's not too hard and something you can definitely do.
The kappas are a great way to go. Install should be very straightforward and not really require an installer.
