Which Ipod kit (jammed CD changer, '05 Coupe)

Hey guys,

I've been searching and reading a ton, but haven't come across any conclusive answers. Basically I just want to integrate my Ipod with the factory HU, which is jammed/broken. I don't know if this would not allow some of the kits to work or not. It is an '05 Coupe that I believe has the SAT connection in the trunk. I'm picking it up this weekend.

What I'm looking for:

1. Low cost
2. Charges Ipod
3. Able to control Ipod directly
4. Controls from steering wheel would be nice but not necessary
5. Ease of installation

Your help is greatly appreciated!

That's the about lowest cost way to do what you want.

For $300, you can get a cheap $150 single-din unit that supports iPod from crutchfield.com, get the $95 metra dash kit from the combo deal, get the free antenna adapter and wiring harness, and purchase the PAC steering wheel interface from amazon for $42.

You'll have a shiny new headunit that operates the iPod much better, has a working CD drive, and possibly other great features you'd like, like USB input, SD card slot, and aux inputs.

^-- +1, It also displays the song info on your screen and has a clean stock look because everything is hidden.
