Quick center console removal 05-07 coupe

So I have had my Usa spec Pa11 for a while but I had it installed with the option of mounting it to the vent. I never bought the vent mount because it looked pretty tacky IMO. Lately I have gotten tired of my wire just laying around so I wanted a cleaner more stock look, so I feed the wire through my armrest. Pics below!

I took apart my dash and moved the Usa spec ipod adaptor. With the help of this great DIY https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...irius-sat.html

1. open your center console pop that plastic rectangle off and remove the two screws holding it down.

2. remove the console, unplug the cig lighter and the seat heater cables

3. feed the usa spec cable under the console wiring like in this pic below

4. place the usa spec box at the end of the console.

5. Flip the console over

6. next remove your cup holder. There are four screws that hold it into place

This way you have room to drill your hole

7. drill your hole next to the cig lighter and your set!

And if you want to feed your ipod thru the armrest and switch albums/songs you can.

On the under side of the armrest after you open it there is a groove meant for cords that are charging via the cig lighter in your armrest!
