Just curious for you guys running the 4080 box if you guys removed your 6x9s? If you did/didn't hows the sound/quality/loudness? I'm really curious because I should be receiving mine next week! Bammmmm!

They're not sealed from the trunk at all, so they'll turn into out-of-phase passive loudspeakers from the pressure in the trunk.

Best to remove them, but not necessary.

In case you have never removed any interior panels from the rear of the car before, removing the 6x9's is a lot of work. Pretty much all the rear panels need to be removed to gain access to the rear deck. Not trying to convince you not to remove them, just making you aware it's some work.

Well that answers my question, I'm leaving those stock 6x9s in then. My 10" IDQv3 sounds good with them in. I just have comps in the front and a 10" sub. Waiting for my Boston Acoustics (pro60se) to arrive.
