I will need AC control unit as well. Mine just randomly crapped the bed and need replaced.

I'm not sure I understand the difference between the tan and black interior in regards to the difference in the AC controller. Can't I just reuse the aluminum bezel/ faceplate from my existing radio? Can you point out the differences?

 

Radio itself is the same. I believe your controls are black for the AC as mine are a beige color.

If your looking for the radio and the circuit board, they should swap over. you might have to swap the buttons to stick with the black ones.

You can reuse the bezel/faceplate from you existing radio.

 

Hmm, must be the lighting of the pics, but the buttons, look grayish to me.

 

OK, update for this posting: The radio works fine, I can control it via the steering wheel controls. The AC is still on full blast so I think I just need to replace the circuit board and nothing else. Does anyone know if they sell just the circuit board?

 

i just ordered my DD HU yesterday. it arrives next week so i should be selling my AC and OEM HU from my black interior coupe with aluminum/silver trim

 

Well I only need the A/C controller I think but just in case it would be nice to have the whole lot as a backup. I was about to purchase the Metra kit for $150 so I don't want to spend much more then that if all I need is the controller. Would you either sell just the A/C controller or ship the whole thing for $150?

the cd player on my bose system is starting to go out, so if all you need is the circuit board and ac controls then that would be perfect for both of us

Make sure you're getting one for an 03 - 03s don't interchange with 04's (or any other year).

 

Really? i thought the Metra kits were good for 03-04 and the 03 and 04 faceplates/ buttons look identical.

 

im not familar with the 03 vs 04, but if 04, i have the titanimum colored trim with a/c controls (dual climate button swapped with dummy switch off the JDM control) and working HU.

Right now, I think I have a seller locked down for just the circuit boards/ faceplate from an 04 coupe with silver/ black button color scheme. $60 shipped but he can't deliver until he receives his new aftermarket stereo next week sometime. Does anyone already have a working faceplate/ circuit board/ A/C controller with the Silver & Blk. color scheme ready to ship for the same price? I live in 01863 and need ASAP. I can pay via paypal.

Please let me know I'd like to get this fixed very soon the A/C blasting all day is a major pain.
